Privacy Policy

We only collect what we need to fulfil your order and answer your questions:

• Contact details — your name, email address and phone number.
• Delivery address — so the courier can reach you.
• Order details — the products, lenses and quantities you chose.
• Prescription information — only when you order prescription lenses.
• Payment reference — for manual JazzCash or Easypaisa payments, the transaction ID and any receipt you attach. We never see or store your card or wallet PIN.
• Account details — if you create an account, your password is stored in an encrypted (hashed) form and cannot be read by us.

Prescription data is sensitive, and we treat it that way:

• It is attached to your order and visible only to Eye Shop Optician staff.
• Uploaded prescription files are stored privately. They have no public web address, are not listed anywhere, and cannot be opened without an authenticated staff sign-in.
• Prescription values and file links are never placed in a web address, a WhatsApp message, or an email.
• Prescription details are never shown in public product data or search results.
• We do not sell, rent or share prescription information with anyone.

We use your prescription solely to prepare your lenses. We do not interpret it or offer medical advice on it — see the prescription guide.

• To prepare, fulfil and deliver your order.
• To contact you about your order — for example, to confirm prescription details.
• To verify a manual JazzCash or Easypaisa payment.
• To answer an enquiry you have sent us.

We do not send marketing messages unless you have asked us to.

We share the minimum necessary with our delivery courier — your name, address and phone number — so your order can reach you. Nothing else is shared. We do not sell your data.

We keep order and prescription records for as long as we need them to service your order and any later exchange or remake. If you would like your information removed, contact us and we will do so where we are not required to keep it.

Access to customer data in our admin system is restricted to authorised staff accounts. Passwords are hashed. Private documents — prescriptions and payment receipts — are served only to a signed-in administrator and are never cached by browsers or third parties.

No system is perfect. If you believe your information has been exposed, please tell us immediately so we can act.

You can ask us at any time to:

• tell you what information we hold about you;
• correct anything that is wrong;
• delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
